Wedding Etiquette: You're NOT invited

You're Not Invited to our Wedding

The Look on writes about a new trend going around in Weddings with couples informing people that they aren't invited to their wedding. Some couples are doing it themselves by e-mail, sending out "Don't Save the Date" cards, or having their wedding planner inform people.

I don't know about you, but if I received one of these messages, I would be kind of puzzled. It's really not that big of a deal to let somebody know that you have a limited guest list or strictly family at your wedding if the situation arises. I could also see acquaintances or friends feeling hurt that you had to let them know in advance.

Another suggestion made by a wedding planner in the article mentioned sending them out a day after the wedding. This seems like a more graceful way and if worded properly, could be a nice touch.

What do you think Philly brides? Would you send out "Don't Save the Date" cards?
